Staged reading

Fall From Grace held its first official staged reading in New York City at Open Jar Studios in April 2026. The reading featured a full cast performing the book and score with produced tracks, giving audiences an early look at the world, characters, and emotional arc of the musical.

The presentation confirmed the strength of the show’s core: the relationship between Jessie, Grace, and Andrew, the pressure of perfection in a performing arts school, and the music that carries the story forward.

This reading marked a major step in the musical’s development and opened the door for the next stage of rewrites, workshops, and industry collaboration.
